#3Texans also acquired Joe Mixon and several key defensive players. This is going to be a very good team.Comment -

#5Don't like this for the Bills.
I don't care for MOST WRs. But I think Diggs is a special-one.
And what's up with the Bills? L3 years, they've been right there. Is their window closing?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#10Looks great on paper but Diggs can be a cancer if things are not going his way.
He might get a lot fewer touches than he's accustomed to with Collins and Dell running routes alongside him.
As far as the Bills, this is a very deep draft for receivers so seems like a good time to part ways...getting rid of him might actually be addition by subtraction for the Bills and have an improved team chemistry.Last edited by JAKEPEAVY21; 04-03-24, 01:15 PM.Comment -
#11Diggs is a total pain in butt. Whines, pouts. He wont block.
He is really good but far from at the elite level of Chase, Jefferson, Hill, Adams, Lamb.
WRs are by far the easiest position to replace.
With Kincaid at TE and picking up Samuel and drafting a cheaper WR in round 1 they will be fine.Comment -
#12Obviously it helps when your QB looks ready to contend after his rookie year, but the Texans are playing that hand beautifully. Diggs, Collins, and Dell with some combination of Brown, Woods, and Metchie backing them up is a fantastic receiver group–especially with Schultz and Mixon in tow. Combined with the Hunter signing, I love how they’re going all-in on Stroud’s cheap years, and love how they set this up with acquiring an extra second rounder from the Vikings. I’ve been a Caserio skeptic in the past, but this is stellar.Comment -

He is 5'10" and he will have to be special to get past that IMO.Comment -

#21interesting move :
Added incentive for Stefon Diggs: As part of the Buffalo-Houston trade, the Texans wiped out the final three years on Diggs’ contract, giving him the ability to become a free agent after this season, per league sources. The Texans also took the $3.5 million guaranteed to Diggs next season and moved up into this season, giving him a raise and assuring him of $22.52 million in guaranteed money in 2024. But if Diggs plays the way he wants, and Houston hopes, he will hit the free-agent market next offseason with the ability to make it count. Houston now anticipates getting the best version of Stefon Diggs.-

#23Diggs now on a 1 year deal playing for a new contract at age 30. He might win "Citizen of the Year" at the end of this season.Comment -

#25Houston is a young and extremely talented team, who is full of selfless players and coaches
Bringing in a cancer like Diggs is a mistake, although I understand it might be just one year
I wouldn't let that guy near Stroud, Collins, or even RyansComment -
#26Diggs a pain in the ass. Not sure he’s a guy that will be satisfied anywhere. Be sure to give him 10+ looks a game or you will have problems. Texans were on the right trajectory without the trade but it’s the NFL and teams fail often trying to go from good to great. They are no longer going to surprise any damn one so they have that going against them too. Teams will be ready to go. Should be fun to watch either way.Comment -

He's playing for one more big payday, and DeMeco Ryans is a hard ass and should keep Diggs in line.Comment -

#29Nick Caserio is of the old Patriots hierarchy. He's trying to win now while Stroud is on his rookie deal. You won't see moves like this when Stroud gets his bag. The Texans will have 2-3 contracts and then everyone else. That worked for the Patriots and is the current philosophy of the Chiefs.Comment
