I've been to a couple meetings since she found out and haven't bet, nor even had the itch to since. Not sure why I'm sharing this here, but nothing can be worse than feeling the shame of your wife finding out that you're a degenerate gambler.
She already knew pal. Just thought you were a winning degen. That’s what you told her before anyway.

Well said. Most can’t do the latter even without gambling so once you throw gambling in forget about it!

When you normalize and legalize things that are potentially addictive, you get more addicts. Who knew?

Greatest tool of the super-evil is make it illegal.

Nixon/nancyboy ron's war on drugs a monumental failure.

Though it did make the USA #1 in prison population. Land of the free, home of the brave.

NIMBY - Not in My Back Yard

Which is why I do not want casinos and marijuana houses in my city. Don't want a liquor store on my block. Too many irresponsible people with little self control. Call me a prude but keep that shit in Vegas. Really don't want easy access to guns either but that cat is already out of the bag.

Guns kill more people than casinos, weed and liquor***. Don't worry, the R are against all bad habits except guns.

out Mac. I'm 100% against advertising gambling and prescription drugs.

*** Short term, in THE long run hard liquor is dangerous stuff.

There is still a market for local and off shore books. It’s just a different level of degeneracy.
