mavs could've tied the clippers today but they rested people and clips end up losing
denver was up 1 and had the ball 30 sec left and could've held ball and had someone shoot in final second just get it on the rim and bouncing off and you probably hold on to win
instead... the supposed MVP of the league hoists up a shot with 3.4 left on the shot clock and the result was spurs able to push it ahead to a guy and he had time to calmly get close and sink a short floater that went in with .9 left
then nuggets change in-bound man to Murray just because the spurs called a timeout and he doesn't throw it in to anyone gets a 5 second call
you can't tell me how dumb these guys are... even the current league Champs
if he shot it at the very end of the shot clock spurs maybe grab the ball with 3 sec left... and not sure if they had a timeout if they didn't it was hoist it from half court time

now the west has 3 teams tied for the 1 seed
EPIC FAIL
You're not really giving context here... The Mavs knew the Clippers weren't going to lose at home to a decimated Jazz squad, so rather than go full throttle, Coach Kidd decided to give the day off to Doncic and Irving with the playoffs just around the corner.
So once the Mavs lost to the Pistons, Coach Lue knew that the 4 seed was secure and playing his stars a full game was fruitless so he benched them after the first quarter. And for some perspective, the Clippers were up 11 points after one quarter, it was pretty obvious LAC could've boat raced the visitors if they had to.
Both coaches did the correct thing here. The playoffs are what matter, not game #81 of the regular season.
The West got a little wilder Friday night with the Spurs beating the Nuggets, leaving a three-way tie atop the conference heading into the final day of the regular season.
It's in this thread: *OKC wins a 3-way tie via H2H records. See table on the right.
There are gonna be some garbage games to be had here. Study up boys. You can certainly find a few angles with tomorrows games to end the regular season.
John, I'll give you one to scout. What about CLIPS +3?
1) Clips already coasted in a few games.
2) HOU is sitting multiple guys. They're toast for the season.
3) Leonard injury is factored too heavily into the line. Clips may use this as a a tune-up game and win for fun.
Johnny, props on this thread. See my play list. I'm on: MINN/CLIP/Milw.
Worth looking at the lineup sheet:
*DALL is clearing the bench. Literally everyone is out, even Exum.
*MEM: Clarke it Out, that's big. Mem has a million injuries.
John, I have a game for you to scout out. What about Dal/OKC?
...If you think Powell can have a good game, +19.5 is not crazy.

Worth looking at the lineup sheet:
*DALL is clearing the bench. Literally everyone is out, even Exum.
*MEM: Clarke it Out, that's big. Mem has a million injuries.

I looked at it some more. No play on Dal/KC:
*I do think Powell is a legit big. He will do OK.
*This guy Prosper sux pretty bad. 38% FG for a PF.
*Tim Hardaway Jr? Maybe I'd bet if it was Tim Hardaway Sr.
And Mavs will have no bench. This game looks like a rout.
...Amazingly, Trae Young played last game. Will be playing as a tune-up here.
...Pacer lineup looks solid.
...Atl +14 is not crazy. My reluctance ties to Capela being ?able. I'd want Capela/Okongwu to be playing.
