Skip Bayless is off Fox in a few weeks. No suppressed here. He is a face of fake claims. That's why I'm surprised Fox let him go.. I guess all his false claims. They lost a lot already for lying. He is a joke.

Bayless's inner circle are saying "Skip wasn't fired, we're just dropping his (and Sharpe's) show.
WTF is the difference.
Call it a cancellation, call it whatever, if it looks like a duck... he's fired, his agents, his friends can spin it and play the semantics game until doomsday, bottom line, I don't have to hear and look at him on Fox any longer.
I like Sharpe, but that duo had zero chemistry.
What pisses me off is Bayless was making 8 million per.
I have no idea how Bayless ever got a big-time sports network gig, I know he was a solid print journalist, just because somebody can write a good sports column doesn't automatically make him a good on-air personality.
I'd rather have a hot maple syrup enema than listen to that whiny voice again.
And what's up with that back-and-forth head bob of his, it looks like he's giving.... (uh, never mind what it looks like)Comment -

#10Talk about shitty ESPN ensemble type sports talk shows...
The long-term future of ESPN’s ‘Around the Horn’ is up in the air (msn.com)Comment -

1) If people will pay for a guy to spout his opinions, that's a job. It pays the bills.
2) It is a little sketchy when networks will just try to pair a guy with a new guy to re-cycle the same show.
3) One thing sticks out to me re: Skip. When he was in Dallas, he used to get some good info from sources. One of his big SCOOPS...was that Aikman was gay.
...No idea if this is true. Aikman has been married (2x, I believe). The women like him.
...Barry Switzer was also a believer of this rumor. Maybe Switzer thought that b/c of his friction with Troy.
...Anyway, it seems ridiculous that Skip leveraged that story to build his rep. Seems insane, irrelevant and really none of his business.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#14Who watches this crap is just made to put up in the sportsbooks that need something on the Screen. All sports talk shows are boring unless there is gambling along with it.I have not watched or Listened to a non gambling sports talk for at least 6 years. In the car tuned in Mad Dog radio.Russo put me to sleep in 1 minute. Wait i did watch High Heat on Mlb network till this season When they Hired that Alana Rizzo chick i watched sparingly and then got fed up because she was just another Chickie in sports that contributes nothing only there because they need a women!Comment -

Over the years there have been shows that I've tuned into. The appealling shows are the ones that are some combination of Real&Raw/Informative/Funny.
As for the women on these shows? Sure, they're good looking (almost by default). Tell me the last time one of them said something insightful.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -
#16You pretty much echo my view on modern Sports Talk-Shows. They are mostly terrible.

It must kill Skip that he is still on just till football season. I'm enjoying it.Comment -

#21I don’t really watch these shows much. Just busy when they are on and at one time I DVR’d them thinking I may get something out of them… no chance. Years ago I watched a lot of PTI and Around the Horn (college). I really enjoy the MLB/NHL SiriusXM radio content though. MLB has tons of great stuff on it. NHL too. Yeah, yeah, yeah- radio. Still so much great stuff on radio.Comment
