Yep.

Money becomes worthless every year in one country or another. Loyalty programs close. Nitrobetting for instance used to give away thousands per month, now they offer 'a bonus' where you deposit 1k, and get '$500 extra', but the kicker is your account has to be zeroed out to claim the bonus. It's that ridiculous sometimes
If this worries you, think about 100 mln people who are stuck living in Argentina. THAT is a problem, not SBR doing away with a system that was broken before I even signed up here I think

My grandkids all miss the Pizza Hut rewards we got from the Sbr store. The end of an era.

I miss the SBR poker game most of all, a good way to stay in touch with fellow SBR pros for a few points.

Guess this was inevitable! Sad but all good things must end. Had a great run here with betpoints, the football contests were great, and poker was great (especially the World Cup Finals weeks, very exciting stuff!). But again, nothing lasts forever, and the other aspects of my adult life have been catching up to me anyway!

But I will sure enjoy these contests here even if they are the last ones - whether you win anything or not, the way it makes it more exciting to root on your picks each weekend was the truly nice thing, and I will enjoy that while I can!

I have the same problem as others. I submitted my Pro renewal application on Aug 4. It is still pending, even though it should only take 2-4 business days. My Pro-membership expires on sep 1, and then I cant enter the contests.

Really miss poker too. It’s a damn shame SBR can’t or doesn’t desire to run some type of separate poker platform to use our points on. Don’t even care about the store or the so called “value” of points. They were only worth something when we had the SBR store.

The social aspect of the games were great and kept the forum active and lively. There are several poker platforms out there that let you play with “play money”, why can’t something like that be adopted here?

Ahh well, we all seen this coming and it certainly was fun while it lasted. Glad to see the contests continue on.

Thanks for the feedback, unde0087. We appreciate your loyal support over the years. Due to the way the Survivor & Leaderboard contests are set up, we can only offer one entry per person. However, we will definitely take this into consideration for any future contests/draws we hold.

Totally agree with unde0087 here. Why are you giving “extra” entries in the drawings to SBR Pros with larger point balances verse long time SBR Pros with lower balances? It’s bias against those of us who spent, gambled, played poker and gave away our points thru the years.

Extra entries should be based on SBR Pro seniority based on your sign up date and how long you’ve been here. Not how many were accumulated thru loan sharking, points dumping and getting lucky in points contest.

Go look at my and several other long time SBR pros lifetime points balances. How about using that as a fair basis for how many extra entries an SBR Pro gets? Thanks for listening.

Eligibility is based on your Pro status as of August 19th so you are both good. I have update the announcement to make that a little more clear.

Yes, once you enter the Survivor contest you are in for the draws. It does not matter when you are eliminated, we are just doing 5 draws per week for the first 10 weeks of the season.

I joined here at SBR a few years before Betpoints, and that program was definitely a great program, for years. I hate that it is gone. But life, time, and forums change and evolve. The casino and sportsbook along with poker, I have missed.
Look forward to SBR, in the future, and to see what is to come. Hopefully the 2025 new programing will be just as great as the glory days here.

There was never any use collecting a lot of non-pro points, as you could only keep 3000 when transferring to pro anyway.

But if you have been an active user on the site, you don't need to be pro to be part of it
