I don't see any issue. The were a few things that might be different. 1 is that a poster linked a .gif image file: this image and I don't recall .gifs being posted here before that. The 2nd is a private message link was posted that showed an identical icon to the report icon: this link - which you shouldn't be able to open . I have uploaded a screenshot of the entire page to Imgur: Imgur image to help identify any other issue.

Picking 2 X 80% chance picks at -400 odds will score 2 X 1.25 =2.5 points 64% of the time, 1.25 points 32% of the time and 0 points 4% of the time. Picking 2 X 40% chances at +150 will get you 5 points 16% of the time, 2.5 points 48% of the time and 0 points 36% of the time. Players maybe playing to score respectably but not win rather than maximising their chances of winning but also of finishing last. Gambling tends to be about making value decisions. Non-gamblers tend to make emotional bad-value decisions. Winning competitions tends to be about making unusual lesser value decisions. I'm very interested to see how this competition goes.

You make good points. But it doesn't take a math wiz to understand most posters here have an out, a way to win, no matter how unlikely that path actually is.

Getch doesn't have an out except hitting everything AND 39 other players MISSING EVERYTHING (which is the hard part).

It's like betting the Dodgers to win the world series, parlayed with the White Sox to win 45 games this season. First one is hard, second one is possible ONLY THEORETICALLY.

I'm sure he's a smart guy, just didn't pay attention placing these picks lol

I think it's way too early to draw any conclusions as to how this contest will play out. About all we know is that...Carolina and New Eng probably won't make the playoffs.

In talking to posters, fair to say that the Winner will probably hit on a couple less fashionable picks. Who might that be? Cin/Dal look shaky. MIA has an injury issue, and the Jets just changed coaches.

As bad as the Jets look, they could go Top of the AFC East standing with a win tonite. You do wonder if the owner had an axe to grind with Saleh. And what was his better solution?
