Ind. Medellin are coming off a Copa Sudamerica 2nd leg on the 25th , where they eventually lost in PK's to Lanus of Argentina. The extra games have taken a toll on them in league play where they sit 16th in a 20 team league. Once Caldas are in 1st place after 11 games and last played on Sept 21st. This would be a 5 unit play if the weather were hot and humid as opposed to rain and 19c at kickoff in Manizales
Oregon St rolled over Purdue with 341 rushing yards last week in a 38 - 21 win. Nebraska should be able to put up big #'s on this D. Purdue also gave up 362 rushing yards to N.Dame in a 66 - 7 loss the week prior. Nebraska should be able to come close to covering the # on their own imo
Weather could play a big part in todays games. Sunderland were a big play for me today until I saw the rainfall anticipated ( mostly prior to kickoff ). Heavy Rain anticipated in Luton or they would also be in play. Not much between Salzburg and Stade Brestois on paper , although Brest are very average when travelling and Salzburg are beasts at home. No value in backing Inter or Man City, as both are playing small market minnows who wont be around come knockout play. Bayer Leverkusen have a big advantage in midfield over AC Milan , but I will await official line ups.
Lille enter this game on a bad run of form. After 4 consecutive losses they rebounded to draw Strasbourg at home and win 3 - 0 away to newly promoted side Auxerre. They are without 2 starting midfielders , Gomes and Haraldson ( who misses his 5th ). Good news for Real Madrid that Mbappe has been cleared to travel to France. Not sure he starts , regardless , they are going to dominate the possession game tomorrow. As for A.Villa and their recent rise to the elite of English football , it has been very impressive. Still , its Bayern tomorrow
