With only 2 games remaining in the Group Stage , incentive should dictate the line ups today. Im going to wait on the official line ups in the hopes of getting a bit of betting leverage. Just my early leans , feel free to post any thoughts or info
Early games @ 12:45pm est
Atalanta ( Ita ) vs Sturm Graz ( Aus )
Monaco ( Fra ) vs Aston Villa ( Eng )
Atalanta are the only one who has any real hope of advancement. Sturm Graz would need to win its 2 remaining games and hope for miracles elsewhere to advance. Odds reflect the obvious , perhaps a live opportunity
Monaco are mired in a lengthy slump and fresh off an embarrassing loss at lowly Montpelleir. Aston Villa came away with a 2 - 2 draw at Arsenal on Saturday and playing very well again. Lean to one or some of these options : A.Villa @ 2.80 A.Villa DNB @ 2.12 Over 2.5 @ 1.70
Lets make some $$$$ while we watch The Beautiful Game
A.Madrid ( Spa ) vs B.Leverkusen : 2 of the hottest teams in Europe Lean to Over 2.5 @ 2.02 BTTS looks obvious but already inflated @ 1.60
Barcelona only need a draw in their last 2 games to advance with a top 8 position and a bye. Benfica must win to keep pace in the playoff position they now hold. Olmo is out for Barca , but adequately replaced by young star Gavi. If they choose to put out their A team , im on Barca @ Even or better.
Some possible upsets ?
Club Brugge 3.25 vs Juventus Bologna @ 3.40 vs Dortmund B. Lev @ A.Madrid 3.00 A.Villa @ 2.80
Barcelona was -120 now +120.
They'll be trying hard to win this game with their top players but they'll probably be lucky to get a draw.
iLive betting on tennis has been interesting.
Lot of big swings.
I see the opening line on Barca @ - 102 and +120 now. No chance that movement is based on Olmo's absence , so they may be resting others. Will wait for an offivial line up around 2pm est

In both games only 1 team has incentive. Leipzig and Young Boys can not advance even if they won their 2 remaining games. With serious concerns over their standing in League play , it makes no sense to put out their best side in a game with zero meaning. The line has been bet down on both games overnight
Man City are a shadow of their former self. The line seems about right considering their play to date. The game means everything to both teams as a loss would most likely eliminate the loser
Besitkas have brought in Gunner Solskjaer as the new manager and he debuts with todays match. Its a must win game for Besitkas to have any hope of playing further football in this competition. A.Bilbao are having a great campaign , and remain undefeated in the tournament ( 6 wins 1 draw ). Although they only need a draw to guarantee a top 8 position and a bye , they seem prepared to put out a strong side today. Too early for Gunner to have an impact imo

If man city lose they'll still be in with a win over club brugge.
Psg can't afford the loss and they play Stuttgart last game.
I'm enjoying the City fall so I'll be betting on them.

City are in 24th spot and only 1 pt ahead of PSG. As for the look aheads , why ? Teams are still playing today and the last game could or couldnt make a difference. Clearly , both sides will play todays game as tho it were a final.
Anyone like girona? They have been so bad in this competition but I think today they will give AC Milan trouble.
Girona are pretty much out of it already ( need to win both games and pray for lots of help ). AC milan have a chance to make top 8 and get a bye. We'll have to see what sort of line up Girona puts out today
