Who got better with this trade? Towns will get crushed by NY Media. Towns Houdini at times in the playoffs. Randle can’t stay healthy. If Randle does stay healthy with Divencenzo also the Wolves may win this trade. Just a salary swap of two teams that probably not good enough to win it all.

They're also losing DiVincenzo in this deal. They weren't going to re-sign Randle anyway so getting KAT wasn't a bad deal. But I still don't see how this gets them past the Celtics. Same with Minnesota. They get a nice starting five but they're not beating the Mavs and Doncic. I think Gobert would have been a better fit.

Why are the Kicks fans devastated? Randle has not been apart of what they did last year. Randle was even upset that he wasn't part of the Villanova/Kicks pod cast. DiVincenzo is the big loss. The Knicks are going to sign some veterans when they come available. Both Kat and Randle need a new start. The biggest reason this was done because the need of some in the key D. You get the shooting the same just more D in the key.

The Wolves now have a spacing problem is the media consensus.

KAT spread the floor, which helped Ant, but also helped with the problem that Rudy and McDaniels can only play inside. With Randall, the Wolves have 3 starters that can’t shoot and can only play inside.

Wolves’ opponents want Ant to shoot, not drive, and they play off him. His 3pt % is deceiving in that way.

This wasn’t a deal made to help Ant. The paint is going to be congested.

The #1 center was brittle boned Robinson, and he's out again.
Without the KAT move was a part time decent center as full time.
Knicks weren't going anywhere with Precious and a way over the hill Julius.

If I were KAT I'd take some time out, drop to his knees and thank the 'Wee one in the manger' for getting me out of Minny and away from Gobert.
