From Top Dawg Picks
)He’s on a HEATER
Anunoby is coming off a game where he posted his best shooting and scoring performance so far this season. He’s been over this line last 5/5 games averaging a solid 22.7 PRA for the year and doesn’t seem like he’s slowing down anytime soon. This line is simply too low for his volume.
• In his most recent five games, OG has averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3 three pointers per game. He has been on fire from long range too, draining 48.4 percent of his shots from beyond the three-point line during that span. He has been playing excellent defense lately as well so that leads me to believe he should see his usual minutes.
• He’s been soaring over this line all November so the fact that we are getting this line this low again is shocking to me because there is no reason for his volume to decrease in this matchup. 76ers have very mediocre defense especially when it comes to defending 3 point shots where I think he will excel. They are ranked 19th in points allowed and 20th in FG%.
• Overall I’m expecting another solid performance from OG in what should be a competitive matchup, which should keep him looking to score. Fun fact I have a friend that is a die hard Knicks fan and OG is starting to be his favorite player this year and I believe he’s emerging as one of NY’s more reliable players
