    Temple Basketball Point Shaving Allegations
Dear students, colleagues and alumni,I have been made aware of media reports about a former Temple basketball student-athlete, detailing a federal investigation into sports wagering activities. While it is disappointing to see Temple mentioned in this context, we know that it is not representative of our athletics program. Intercollegiate athletics is an important component of the Temple experience. It unites our community and is a source of deep pride for our students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Miller is this generation's Anderson Hunt.

I was reading yesterday after Drayton got fired the game in question v. UAB the betting line moved from -1.5 to -8 in an hour.

Apparently, that set off all sorts of bells and whistles and red flags.

Jesus God man, you couldn't get away with point shaving in the 50's when point shaving was rampant what makes these idiots think they can get away with it in the 2020's, in an age where there are PODS on every streetlamp and CNN with four news cameras up everybody's ass.

Probably because ESPN has its own sports book and doesn't want to shed light on a problem that may cost them money.

this is off original topic but the Lakers point shave at the end of every game when they have a lead and it finally cost them a game v the Magic

w streak dead, undefeated at home no more

LeBron and Davis 2-6 from the stripe leads to the Magic hitting a late 3 to win. Davis tries a last second shot and.... yikes
