So it looks like LB De'Vondre Campbell will not be joining the Niners for week 16, or any other weeks ever after refusing to tap in when Greenlaw went out in the 3rd quarter. Coach Shanahan has made it clear they're moving on: https://www.nfl.com/news/49ers-plan-...ondre-campbell

That's no surprise really, would any sane person expect anything different? The real question is, what the heck was Campbell thinking? Yes he had started 12 of the last 13 games with the 49ers, but he was specifically signed to bridge the gap until Greenlaw returned...that's just part of the job.

The other question is: will he be released or are there grounds to suspend him instead?

I think Niners can save money by suspending him instead of releasing him. Ravens were in the same situation with Diontae Johnson last week

NFL Players Union should have a clause where they can revoke his last game check. If he wasn't there to play, then he was stealing money.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

My thoughts exactly, re: stolen money. It's just wild to me, the unprofessionalism and cavalier attitude. Not only for the sake of your team, but these guys are getting paid $$MILLIONS$$. I just find it pretty reprehensible. Dude. Get out there and play! I guess the teams are better off with them completely gone, but they should NOT get their full contracted pay imo.

He'll claim a mental episode, cry disability and will be playing somewhere else next year after collecting full pay this year.

Tammy he's already rich? U best get prepared and used to this. This may sound racist but I'm the furthest thing from that. If you allow the monkeys to run the zoo your gonna get shit all over your face in the end. We aren't even at the tipping point yet. Someone best wake up that owns all these teams but no1 will. Juan Soto types worse English than me, crazy right? He just made how much money? No end in site. TIK TOK
