What time is Mansion seeding MLB on the exchange?
    Anybody know?

It looks (tragically) like they're breaking from the pattern of posting all those big juicy offers between 11 and 12 EST.

When I get up around 9 (which I believe is 2 pm their time), the offers are already up. Does anyone know what the new pattern is?

The place is a waste of time these days. I can't believe how much I made there. I am sad to see it go, but my Mansion days are over.

They had moved up to my #1 out even above Pinnacle.

The Offers have gone the way of the dodo bird.

What you're seeing ($35-90K) is simply Mansion putting up a certain dollar amount on both sides, at a certain straddle, and playing the role of bookmaker.

Maybe I worded my question weakly. I understand what has happened and what they're doing. All I'm asking is what time they're opening up the numbers.

I don't find Mansion to be a waste of time at all. I find they've gone from being this weird and wonderful I-can't-believe-they're-doing-that psycho-book to a more normal operation.

If I was going to not use books because they're aren't doing what Mansion used to do, I wouldn't have any outs.

I'd have to crunch a few numbers but, since the big change, I'm pretty sure I have placed more action at Mansion than any other book.

In any case, I find there can often be some advantage with any book for any sport to being there waiting when the opening lines are posted. That's all I'm asking here.

            1:00AM usually

Mansion will be a typical square out soon but a good and safe one

If you were a Mansion customer before, this is quite a letdown. Baseball in the sportsbook is almost unbettable and many of the good prices in the 'exchange' sportsbook have $1000 limit (1k "available"). It definately is a different book.

However, Im looking at +217 on the Giants with 70k available. This has to make them a must-have for a lot of large players. They did send the scalpers and traders packing.

I looks like a great way to manage your book and we may be looking at the wave of the future.

If Mansion opened in its current form would you guys have joined?

No, I'd probably still be making pompous speeches about how a book needs to be around for a couple years before I'll even think about them.

lol, Ok... lets say they have been around 2 years and have always put out out this same product??

From a selection standpoint, they are still looking like a top 5 book for the medium to large value seeker.

Yeah I know what you're saying. As I was saying earlier in this thread, even since the big change they've still been my #1 book.

I think a lot of people are reacting bitterly because Mansion stopped doing what they used to do which was making everyone's lives so much softer. The fact is, no one does what Mansion used to do.

IMO they've got to be evaluated for what they're doing right now compared to everything else that's out there. I'm not placing bets with them today as a thank you for those golden memories. I'm finding good deals.

I have Mansion at a B right now but still do not reccomend it due to lack of longevity

                          Most definately.

If I'm betting a dime, I want the best value for that bet. If Pinnacle is offering me -140 and I can get -135 at Mansion, then Mansion get my bet every time.

The only thing which worries me is the long term viability. You can be pretty sure that Pinnacle will be there when you wake up tomorrow but can you be so sure about Mansion? Stories about exchanges and seeding lines brings back memories of the Sporting Options fiasco.

Bill, have you got confidence in the future of Mansion from a business perspective?
