CFB Bowl game action resumes tonight with the Frisco Bowl between Memphis and West Virginia at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN.

    Opt-Out Tracker

    Memphis opt-outs:

Sutton Smith, RB (injury - out)
Marcello Bussey, WR (injury - out)
    Tyson Edwards, WR (transfer poral)
    Marvae Myers-Glover, S (transfer portal)
    Tahj Ra-El, S (transfer portal)
    William Stewart, LS (transfer portal)

Betting impact, courtesy of SBR's Rob Paul: "While RB Sutton Smith has been a productive contributor to Memphis' offense in the past, he's been out for most of the season, and breakout star RB Mario Anderson has made his absence unnoticed. Keep an eye on Tigers head coach Ryan Silverfield potentially taking a Power 4 job."

    West Virginia opt-outs:

Jaden Bray, WR (injury - out)
Traylon Ray, WR (injury - out)
    Tyler Evans, WR (transfer portal)
    Will Dixon, TE (transfer portal)
    Bryce Biggs, OT (transfer portal)
Edward Vesterinen, DL (injury - questionable)
    Harry Hilvert, DL (transfer portal)
    Josiah Trotter, LB (transfer portal)
Ayden Garnes, CB (injury - out)
    TJ Crandall, CB (transfer portal)
Aubrey Bruks, S (injury - out)
    Josiah Jackson, S (transfer portal)
Raleigh Collins III, S (transfer portal)
    Neal Brown, HC (fired)

Betting impact, from SBR's Rob Paul: "There's a chance no Power 4 team will be in worse shape this bowl season than West Virginia. With head coach Neal Brown fired, a flurry of players has hit the transfer portal, including Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year LB Josiah Trotter. With so much change, this line has already shifted in Memphis' direction. On the bright side, Rich Rodriguez is back in Morgantown with hopes of returning the program to its 2007 glory."

I'm expecting a lot of points and hit the Over 58 (-110 at BetRivers) yesterday morning. How are you guys betting tonight's game?

I've watched WVU play a couple of times, they were awful both games.
I reckon the play would be Memphis or pass.

Memphis is the play. Memphis is in more in tack and they have more to play for. Blow out

With all those WV players opting out, I’m taking Tigers to easily cover the spread.

Never easy with the college games.

NFL was totally unpredictable in the beginning of the year, but now they are somewhat predictable; thus the big profit for me in the 2nd half of the season betting mostly moneylines.

Never really won much in college; one particular because of the stupid ass Alabama losing to Oklahoma that cost me winning a $14K parlay. I won't forget that for a while. So freaking happy that Alabama got booted off the playoffs. Losing to Vanderbilt was bad enough but also losing to Oklahoma is unacceptable.

That’s true but if the X factor is real in this game, then it will be a blowout. Never know how college players will react but I’m predicting that WV will have no motivation at all for this game. Coach was fired and Rich Rodriguez is coming back but not for this game. Double digits win by Tigers!

My initial thought was to take Memphis on ML.

Then, I noticed that ML was just too low in comparison to the point spread of -5.0 at only -205; especially when all those players have opted out on WV.

The next thing I see, Memphis is up 17 and the live ML is only -1900, so I thought about taking it but my subconscious mind tells me not to do it and within a minute WV scores a TD rather easily and that didn't look like all those players being out mattered.

In my humble opinion, betting by who's out probably doesn't work as easy as one would want to believe.

I hope Memphis blows out WV for those who bet them.

How in the hell did that QB ran 56 yds for TD. Should’ve just took the over. 😡

And Tigers “roar” right back with an excellent TD catch! And 2 pts conversion!

That decision to kick just fuked Memphis backers.

So freaking glad that I didn't take Memphis ML after they went up 17 points.

                              But then, maybe not.
