Single ticket with multiplier was about US$7 and 1 of 100 syndicate shares in the 500 entries was about US$23 (AU$45 all up)

think it's an extra dollar to choose the prize multiplier option (2x 3x 4x any prize less than first)

i am getting my self and family each 2 $3 tickets ( not my main gifts I already did my Xmas shopping month ago ) if I or anyone win the billion I’ll report back here tmr

It's already Xmas day down here. Draw is at 3pm local time after we have Xmas lunch.

We just got back from the grocery store for deserts and last minute items.
Holy Mother of God, seems like every idiot in New England decided all to shop at the same time.

The lottery line was reasonable though.
OK, I'm in it to win it.

Yes every time the amount goes to a certain point a group does a buy in $10 each . A couple drawings back we came the closest ever missing 1 number. We hit all but one of the normal ones. We won $10000 but after taxes and divided by everyone we get each like $75. But if we would have hit the normal number and not the Mega one if those were switched that was 1 Million. If we hit the last number i would be in happy land and a millionaire . Figured around 4 Million each . That close.

Turns out the Lottery machine in LA doesn't take 100$ bills. What a joke. I'm in for 20 tickets - we don't have the bonus number thingy in CA.

I was going to get change but some guy with a Steelers T Shirt and his last 7$ was trying to pick his own numbers on the machine. Took forever while me and some lady waited. I told him good luck after he finished - he looked at me with that degenerate gambler look and said "yeah I really need this one, thanks man". I was going to stuff 200 bucks into this machine and he's there with his last seven on Christmas Eve. I felt like maybe that wasn't a good look for me to shoot off a bunch of cash in front of him. Watched my back on the way to the car lol
