Exactly, Andy. If Ryan Leaf is CALLING the game, they might ask him to SUIT UP.

It's a disgusting trend. Wazzu quit on the team, several going to Oklahoma. I heard there was a real chance of them pulling out of the game.

GL w/ the play. Wazzu is short-handed. It's just a matter of their backups being motivated.

Andy, nice preview by you. I won't say this will be a GREAT set of games. But it will be telling.

Ben Folds Five had a song called "Battle of Who Could Care Less." That might apply here:

*Okla - program in transition. I think Venables is looking forward to NEXT YEAR.
*GATech - did they leave their heart in the Georgia OT loss?
*Ark - I'm a little surprised Pittman stays on as coach. I thought he'd be canned in both 2023 & 2024.
*WashSt - I'm expecting a huge punt. Like you say, any frat-boys could suit up today.
*TexAM/USC - No way EITHER team wants to be there. TxAM was so close to bigger things. USC lost a ton of close games, QB Moss is exiting, Riley looking fwd to next season.

Will you have a thread for this week's NFL? If you think the Bowls are tough to cap...what about NFL in the final two weeks??

I'm seeing more and more commentary on the bottom-feeders tanking. I really think the league needs to do something about this. Texans appear to have zero motivation, too. I could see them resting and laying down in the final week.

Sounds good. I have written about my frustration in NFL. Very tough cap:

*I almost played CINCY this week.
...One reason = NFL 2024 script - Page 34.

...Bengal Off Line injuries. Add that to a leaky defense. Not comfortable laying pts, but I expect a Bengal win.
