    (NFL) Honest Question
*Has anyone had a strong NFL season $-wise?

    ...If you have, congrats!

I think these games are tough as hell. Can think of several reasons.

NFL 2024 has turned my brain to scrambled eggs.

I have had a profitable NFL season only because I can't stand the product anymore and only bet it here and there, usually only play one, two max on a given Sunday. If we are talking scrambled eggs, that's the NBA for me where it's a miracle if I cash a ticket. Heck I could be up 10 with under a minute to play and will still lose, honestly hate the NBA anymore.

      Salud, Steelers. Props to you.

Read some of my NBA posts from last season. I had a pretty good read on the league. If I had any NBA advice, it would be this: *Try to determine the REAL value of a player versus the PERCEIVED value of a player.

I thought my read on the West was pretty good. Dallas STOLE Gafford from Wash. Great player.

The NBA media pushes a few name players. And they miss on real value. I try to fade aging players who are now over the hill.

Chuck- my current NFL thread on SBR is:

        Season: 46-46-1: +$6686.90

And that’s coming off firing some big shots. I was up over $10k at one point. Trying to finish strong.

Very nice, darrell. That is a sign of gambling success. When you can pay off debt and buy a few nice things, that's WINNING.

Mid November to now ties out to the heavy Favorite run. Dogs died on the vine. I think the bottom-rung NFL teams are poorly run and beyond hope.

I'm about even chucky, but my strongest (or what I thought was) my strangest plays each week. have killed me this year. Go into the 4th qt. with 14 points to spare and lose. I know it happens every year to everyone, but this year has been as bad as any in recent memory. Somebody else is always on the other side of it. One that went my way I'll never forget was the Washington hail marry. I had turned the channel and did not believe the score when I saw it.

Agree with you on my strongest plays shitting the bed. Random shit happening to kill it.

Not a great season for me but not a total disaster either. There were a lot of games that rewarded the public bettor this season. There were fewer good offshore bonus opportunities as well. I’m not playing some 20x rollover bullshit so overall volume was way down for me as well.

Good stuff, Jake. You did better than me. NFL scrambled my brain this year.

You hit on it with the Public sides. If you go back and track it after SEPT, the Public sides did quite well.

Yes I think the second week was the last one that felt somewhat like you could just take a contrarian position and fire.
