    VCU?
I'm watching this 6pm early tip between UMASS and VCU, I like watching mid majors play, there's money to be made in the mid majors like the A10, MAAC, MAC...

Anyways, how in hell is VCU a bubble team on the outside looking in?
NCAA Bracketology: 2025 March Madness men's field predictions

They're 21-5 now overall, 11-2 in the A10, undefeated on their home court.
Yes, three of the five losses weren't good, but haven't been blown out all season.
net 35th more than good enough for at least an 8/9 game or something like that.

VCU can play with most of the big boys, they have twin towers underneath that totally disrupted UMASS.
UMASS is a mess, but still, they held the Minutemen 0-9 from three (3 minutes left)

I can't remember a team going 0 for from the three-point line in a game, like ever.

Nashy, Rams are a very good team. One comment on the Mid-Majors:
*I know the SU record looks good.
...Sometimes, the Strength of Schedule is a big jump to Major conferences.

Taking a step back, I do think an At Large team should be required to be .500+ in Conference play. Otherwise, some lower tier Conf teams are getting in. I'm with you, would be nice to see VCU go up against the top teams.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Nash, I'll give you one example:

CB,College Basketball,NCAA D1, game scores, schedules, and predictions

Massey Ratings are pretty well-respected. Massey has VCU rated @ #55. What would VCU's record be if they played in the SEC? Or the ACC? Or the Big 10?

I always root for the Mid Majors. The NCAA Tournament is so successful. I actually wish they'd expand it to 80 teams (from 68):
*Maybe you modify the Conf Tournaments. In the top 20 leagues, the Reg Sea champ is EXEMPT from the Conf Tournament.
*The Conf Tournament then becomes a true play-in tournament for the remaining in teams.
      *In the low-end one-bid leagues, it's still Win-and-In.

I think there's some merit to this. Last year Indiana St's resume was too strong to miss the NCAAs. Maybe VCU could be in a similar boat this year.
