Steinbrenner is worried that it could cost them free agents or retaining key players. They will be keeping their hair length policy. Gerrit Cole probably probably trying to find ways to speed grow whiskers.

That means Munson can come back from the Dead. With the handle-bar.

Won’t make any difference in their results. Probably get bounced in the wild card.

KLC, I read a good bit about Munson. Keith Olbermann was around the team. Olbermann said that the Yankee brass was really worried about Munson flying the small planes.

The Yankee brass thought that Munson overrated his flying skill. They really worried about him crashing. So much so that they considered trading him b/c of the Flying risk.

Then I heard about the day of the accident. Fisk was signing autographs a few hours b4 that nite's game.
A kid asked Carlton "Did you hear about Thurman?"

Fisk and Munson had so many battles. Fisk figured that Munson had said something in the news. "What did he say now?"

Kid told him that Thurman had died in a plane crash. This would have been just a few hours earlier. Fisk asked his management if it was true...and he got the news that it was.

Yeah, I read his biography. Very good read. He was a deep family man because of his dysfunctional childhood. He was wanting a trade to Cleveland so he could be closer to his family. Perhaps if had been traded, he would still be on this Earth alive.

They should worry more about the high taxes and high cost-of-living in some states. I would imagine even millionaire players don't want to give away more money than necessary.
