    Teddy Covers YTD
I wanted to track a 'capper longterm to see what type of "longterm" profits I could get if I signed onto a subscription for one of them and loyally bet, unit for unit what they would recommend. I read about this guy "Teddy Covers" a little bit and decided he might be a decent one to follow up on. What I uncovered over the course of the football season wasn't pretty - as he buried clients "longterm".

This is his record since WEEK 1 (AUGUST 2012) of the college football season. He finished down 177 units in football plays alone, so even the loyal customer who is a $25/unit bettor still got buried for over four thousand dollars. Long term profit? For the bookies, perhaps. And if someone was so bold to have faith enough to bet his recommendations ($100/unit) they lost a punishing 17,000. Game over.

Should I continue to track this capper? Maybe though the March Madness tournament? If I get enough feedback on this I will. But next football season I might track another 'capper. All I want to know is, Teddy Covers -- when do we get the "Longterm Profits"??? It appears the only people making profits off of your plays is the bookies!

            Since 02-06-13 until today, Teddy Covers freebets are 7 W - 11 L (38,88%) . Total: -4.4 U, if you had bet 1U per bet.
            During the same period, only Bruce Marshall is worse. 21 W - 24 L (46,66%). Total: -4.43 U.

Better not to spend money to buy their selections.

Oh... no problem for me. I wanted to have an opinion on their skills before to buy something.
I believed, that they would offer their best bets to attract "new" customers. But if they are their best bets, I'm really afraid for the worst ones. Or maybe we have to bet the opposite to win something!

when Millman asked him "why don't you just gamble for a living", Teddy Covers stated "i enjoy doing the write-ups". this guy is a horrible NFL handicapper and a dink(n. refering to a person who
                      could be dominated by anyone.)

Yesterday night. After his 5th successive freebet loss, he offered this one.

                        NCAAB: Oregon vs. Saint Louis

                        Pick:
                        Saint Louis
                        Start:
                        March 23, 2013 - 1:00 PM
                        Capper:
                        Teddy Covers
                        Offered at:
                        bookmaker @ -3.5 -110 Saint Louis

                        with this analysis:

                        Analysis:1* Take St Louis (#528)
St Louis is real deal; the best mid-major team in the country right now (sorry, Gonzaga). And the Billikens are as hot as any team in the country right now; 16-1 SU in their last 17 games, the lone loss coming on the road in overtime at Xavier.
St Louis hasn’t just been winning – they’ve been killing teams! 12 of their 16 wins during this span have come by double digit margins and none have come by less than four points; enough to cover Saturday’s spread. We’re not just talking about beating patsies either – three wins over Butler, two over VCU, along with blowouts over LaSalle, Dayton and St Joe’s.
And look at how well the Atlantic-10 conference has done here in the postseason! In the Big Dance alone, we’ve seen Temple’s win over NC State, VCU’s blowout over Akron, St Louis’s smackdown over New Mexico State, LaSalle’s outright uspets over Kansas State and Boise; Butler’s win over Bucknell: 6-0 SU and ATS for the conference heading into the weekend! Clearly, the A-10, as a conference, is undervalued right now! And St Louis has been dominating the A-10 for the last two months!
Meanwhile, Oregon is an overvalued commodity right now after winning the PAC-12 tournament last weekend in a series of games where, quite literally, everything broke right for the Ducks, even down to UCLA’s Jordan Adams’ ankle in the championship game. Their win over Oklahoma State on Thursday had as much to do with the Cowboys missing open shots as any other single factor. Look for the #12 seed to get soundly bounced here! Take St Louis.

And the comment of covers about him.

Teddy is ON FIRE in the NCAA Tournament, heading into Friday Night in the midst of a 6-1 (86%) run over the past three days. This is nothing new or different – Teddy closed out March Madness last year on a 67% hot streak! DO NOT MISS a single winner on Saturday, especially Teddy’s early start 10* Big Ticket Report!
Yesterday night. After his 5th successive freebet loss, he offered this one.

The same bet that Bruce Marshall had selected 5 hours before.

That's not the first time, that I observed that from this capper.
After a bad streak he chooses a bet already selected by another capper to win again.

Almost all of these guys are the same thing. Law of large numbers gets pretty much everyone of them and makes them losers long term. They will all get on hot streaks just like you or I would if we used a coin and played every day. When they do go on these runs they will tout the living shit out of it and hope to get new subscribers before they go cold again.

Save your money, you can lose just as well by yourself.

i think some of these guys are shills trying to get a better number themselves...teddy talks a good game and his reasoning sounds godd, but it almost always seems togo the other way

                                          Hello,
I wanted to speak about Marc Lawrence.

                                          Since 02-02-13 until today, Marc Lawrence freebets are 20 W - 22 L (47,62%) . Total: -2.85 U, if you had bet 1U per bet.
He actually has a losing streak of 7 bets. Yes! Seven.

                                          He had a month of February of 14 W - 7 L - 1 V. That was not bad at all. (+6.455 U).
                                          But this month he has a result of 4 W - 15 L. (-9.309 U). That's horrible.

My question is: Do you believe that these cappers could receive money from the books to give wrong bets to the new customers?

teddy cover is a pro better and hes more honest than most of the touts out there.i don't know his record off the top of my head so I don't know if he wins over all.i know he and steve fezzick with mr lawrence are in group together and are asked to go to talk and answer questions at bettig seminars.the one thing I really like about him is that he aproaches the game with calmness and his sales pitch is not a dog and poney show.he dosent scream like a mad man like duffey, and that damn spreitzer.you can follow him on the sprtsmemo, but he really works for covers.the sport to follow him is in arena football[nobody is better].he kils the shit out of it but by the time you get the pick he has moved the number.it dosent matter much because its a blowout most the time.that is all i know about teddy covers.
