Pretty lame gambling consulting on the Soprano's set?
A mobster acquiring a slot machine habit at a casino they have no action in and placing a 15 K hunch bet at a legal OTB on a harness race at a minor league track, Batavia Downs where the win pool usually is 15K.Tony Soprano would have turned the 20-1 shot into the less than even money favorite where he was trying to win his own money back. Then if he would have won, the IRS would have screwed him not only taking their cut but delving into the family's finances.Tony should have bet about $1000 total and split it into a few bets making Pauly Walnuts and the crew part of the bet.hehe!

Did anyone see that stuff in the last rerun of the Sopranos on Saturday night?I know it's only a t.v.show and they don't do everything exactly to detail because the average person doesn't scrutinize every detail but they could at least make things a little more to scale.

I could think of a million rackets the show could have used to make the show more interesting.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what a good show topic could have touched on as far as ripping people off is concerned?

I like the ones where they line up the no show union public works jobs where they sit around in lawn chairs with a BBQ at the job site.Your tax dollars hard at work.hehe!

They could have had an episode where they got into internet porn and Tony would have taken a liking to a shemale at the audition and when he found out the woman had a package when he bedded her down he could have whacked her.

They could have had a singer under contract where they rigged an American Idol type show and when a Simon type double crossed the fix and belittled their singer on live t.v.they could have whacked him after the show with a piano wire and various musical instruments.

There are plenty of those Curtis Slewa radio show hosts in NYC that rant against the mob,you would have thought they would have had them whack some Rush Limbaugh type for saying bad things about them.I think that Slewa guy was wounded in a contract hit in real life?

They could have gotten into the meat distributing business getting old race horses and serving them up in some casino buffet and chains of Chinese buffets where they forced the casino people to do business with them.

They could have gotten into the beer distributing business acquiring a new brand from Mexico that they invested tons of money in trucks and a wharehouse where everyone got the shit's from drinking and quit buying it.Then they could have all went down there to whack them.

Or else Meadow could have went on an american idol type show and had a bad night singing and a Simon type humiliated her not knowing she was a mob boss's daughter .Do ya think that would have been just cause for a major whacking? It would have made for a memorable Sopranos quote when Paully would have said,,T,do you want me to violate his sphincter with that piccollo sitting in the corner.

there was a funny little scene in one of the recent rerun episodes where they were talking about the guy who won
a million $$ on survivor and furio i think pulls out his pistol and says something like:

      something like that
