Bitcoin - my price projection Range for 12/31/2025
Of course, I'm bullish. Have my reasons for thinking so.

Was fairly accurate on the Jon Cursi projection from 3/2023 to 3/2025. Will post a range from (Pessimistic, Target, Optimistic) off the current price of $83k.

    Pessimistic (CAGR: +10%) = $89,000
    Target (CAGR: +20%) = $95,000
    Optimistic (CAGR: +80%) = $129,000

    I'm bullish:
    *Bare-bones = beating inflation to EOY 2025.
*+20% CAGR til EOY is not asking so much. Feel like that's a reasonable target.
*New ATH is not unrealistic. Factors in play, definitely some room on the hi-side. Current price is well below the middle of the Power Law curve.

Is that Dr House on drums??

Agree not a bad time to be buying in. When the tarriff stuff is settled down and they get back to being the world center of crypto ATH will be in the mirror again.

Yes, I think so, Opti. The analysts consider the risk-adjusted return.

Adoption means that the Probability (going busto) is less and less. As a compound-interest vehicle, I don't know how one can't hold a % of their assets in BTC.

Have seen more of the Bitcoin machines in stores:
          1) Can purchase BTC from Coinstar.
          2) Saw a BTC machine in local gas-station. Think you create a wallet on your phone, and the coins go to your wallet.

One amateur comment (from me). Andreas A used to talk about the paper-wallets. Those BTC machines would produce a paper-wallet. Huge security risk. Any video camera could capture your private keys, don't think those are around anymore.

              Paper wallets are still around.

I made one to give to my second cousin on her first birthday years ago. Was $100 at time. Should be almost $5000 now I think.

Hope her dad hung onto it for her.

Wow, what a gift. Question, Opti: *They used to print out of the machine with the private key.
...Does it still come out the same way?
...Andreas A used to have a company that produced the paper-wallets. He noted how that is a big problem if your key is exposed in broad daylight. A lot of recording devices nowadays.

I don't know. I used a template that I just filled in the details for myself and printed out. It was designed in a way to fold and seal itself so could tell if it had ever been opened.

If they are it's probably best to transfer to another wallet.

Exactly, Raiders. I think Bitcoin security will become a huge issue. Once people figure out what this is.

I have to say that the Coinstar transfer was pretty nice. The fee was too high. But it goes to your wallet at home, and then you can transfer it out. High fee. But it could have been a lot worse.

Bump. I don't bump this to boost my own ego. I bump it so that others can think about BTC as an investment option.

There have been generations of people who have grown comfortable investing in Stocks/Bonds/RealEstate. What if that model is outdated? Read about currency de-basement over 2000+ years, think about it.

I think we see Bitcoin north of $100k within a week

People need somewhere to escape from the USD

Will pass on one tip: SMLR is building their BTC reserves.
...Price went south. But I think that was tied to some legal problems they were having.
...I believe that's settled. SMLR could be a good bit under-priced, +11% today.
