    (NFL) 2025 Draft notes
First, let's go back in history:

*1998: I know people will (retrospectively) say that Peyton over Leaf was a no-brainer. Peyton may have been viewed as bust-proof, cerebral and very accurate. Leaf was bigger and arguably tougher, I'm telling you that some analysts preferred Leaf to Peyton. The rest is history.

*2007: On one of the old msg-boards I called JM Russell as a bust. Guy wasn't interested, not a real pro.

*2024: Jayden Daniels goes #2, some analysts preferred him to Caleb. Guy has a huge rookie season. Guy who may go down as the hidden-gem = TE Brock Bowers. Bowers went 13th overall. When you re-grade this draft in ten years, I'll say that Bowers might rate #2. Bow

Bowers will go down as one of the five best Tight Ends ever IMHO. Dave Casper re-incarnated?

    *2025 Draft: My opinions...
...Mistake if teams take Ward or Sanders too high. And that's the way it appears. Too mistake-prone.
...Top two picks (in some order) should be CB Hunter COLO and DE Carter PENNST. Tell me Hunter won't be a top NFL CB from Day One.

If you want a value-pick, I'll give two names:
        1) Dart OLEMISS will be a nice pick late in Round One. His stats were phenomenal. Ole Miss was just a little short, people forget about him b/c Ole Miss missed the playoffs.
        2) Howard OHIOST will be a nice developmental QB. I was super-impressed by his performance in the Playoff games. You can probably run him in situations, his accuracy was fantastic. Good QB size, you could do a lot worse with a 4th-round pick.

Chucky - I don’t know about Shedeur but Ward is the real deal. This guy reminds me of Majomes. He has eyes in the back of his head. His pocket presence is unlike most QBs. He isagame changer. I think he ends up winning several Super Bowls. He has the IT factor.
