They were near my town last week.. My girl and a lot of her friends went.. She swears it was one of the best shows she has ever saw live.. She sent me a few vids to my phone last weekend, but i didn't watch any of them.. Not a fan of them myself..

Never really got what the big deal is about this group other than they are the definition of crossover, with members from all different races and things of that nature, there a feel good story,good day.

the funniest thing is that BEP were known as an a critically acclaimed but unpopular underground group before they picked up that ho (fergie) that does nothing but sing unnecessarily high notes, which is when they got the fame.

they get a bad rep. actually they are very underrated.. if you took time to listen the non-singles they are very innovative.

I remember when they first came out, sans Fergie. They were on yo mtv raps a few times. I'm talking like early 90's. I didn't like them then. I have to admit when the girl joined, they have some catchy songs.

Also, read some of their interviews. Everyone in that band sucks, they think they are god's gift to music despite the fact that they don't even care about the music. They're doing it strictly for the money. It's all production and theater, talentless hacks all of 'em.

When i was in my first year of college back in 1996, i worked security for large night club, and i had to pick up the artist or group and bring them to the venue for the show. And Fergie was in a group called "Wild Orchid" and i had to pick them up in a passenger van from the hotel, and they must have blown a 8 ball down between the three girls on the way to the venue.
