Could Bitcoin be the Largest Robbery of all time

The %000001 NWO sell their bitcoin at the peak of the price once everyone is bought in. Buy all real assets (land, salt, food, water, technology ect. Then outlaw it through government corruption and introduce a new currency and then poof! they own the world

    Amazon's IPO - $18
    Amazon's price today - $1162

Had the average Joe decided to save $5,000 and spend it on Amazon’s stock when it first hit the public markets 20 years ago, they be worth at least $2.4 million today.

....only on paper, Amazon still not a profitable company very consistently.

I think they ran in the red for about 15 years.

When your company is growing you don't want money to count as a profit. You want to be borrowing money to grow the business.

I used to work for a growing company. We were in the red for years. When the quarterly numbers came out we would always joke that we were losing more money than ever and it was a good thing. Of course the company wasn't losing money. They were taking all the profit and re-investing it.

    HomeJoy, Fab, WebVan

For every Amazon there are a dozen .com era company that ran red and died.

Investors want profit. Gamblers want growth.

No-one just invests $5k into a red ink idea, hence onky the gamblers and insiders scored on Amazon.

Investors have made out considerably well in the same time duration playing the SP500 as a whole.

Problem with Amazon 5-7 years back... they were horrible at competitive pricing. Always one of the highest... on any item.

Now, they are one of the cheapest.

Vaguely on topic... If you use Amazon and care at all about quality/price, you should use these two browser extensions:

    www.camelcamelcamel.com
    www.fakespot.com

What about the exchange factor? A new Mt. Gox can happen at any given time. Take Kraken - there are no guarantees - you cannot talk to them - you cannot go see them - where money is involved - crooks can find a way. Let's say you have a 100 k at kraken - held in USD - it is possible to lose it all with a Kraken collapse! Your money could vanish at any time and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it.

It's going to be bad for bitcoin price. Shorts can now get ahold of it. Even more volatility.

Long-Term it's a bubble, plain and simple. It's going to come crashing down, only question is when. Could reach $50k first. Be careful.

3000-4000 - Everyone said it wouldn't hit 5000 (including me)

    4000-6000 - Everyone said it wouldn't hit 7000

    7000-8000 - Everyone said it wouldn't hit 9000

    8000-9000 - Everyone said it wouldn't hit 10000

When is the BS going to stop???

If you're holding onto anything valued at 10k... it has substance. Ain't going anywhere.

That's laughable. People have held investments valued over 10k only to see it crash down. Like I said, it could go up a lot more. Might last years. But it will end badly. make your money and be careful.

You haven't given me anything logical whatsoever in your assessment about Bitcoin. Just strictly bad mouthing it... with your opinion... backed with not one ounce of logic.

If you have a realistic example.... then say it. You're throwing darts in a dark room with your statement.

I would never keep 100k at Kraken. If you have a significant amount invested in crypto you should keep it on a hardware wallet or a paper wallet. Keep it somewhere that you control the private key. Then it doesn't matter if an exchange crashes.

How easy is it to hold on paper wallet? Print out a code and stash it in your safe? Then how do you use it again?

    Thanks

I know I have posted this video before but everytime I hear "bitcoin is a bubble" it makes me laugh.

Bare in mind, this video was published 2 1/2 years ago. It's been through a couple more "bubbles" since that time.

You basically print your private key on a piece of paper and then destroy all other copies of the private key. Usually they have a QR code too.
    It could Look like this:

Or you could even hand write it:

They even offer them on wood...

Most crypto wallets have private keys. Most people never see their private key because they keep their crypto on an exchange and the exchange controls (and protects) their private key for them.
You will need to download a wallet. This will help: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
Then print your wallet address and your private key. Then delete off your computer.
You now have a bitcoin wallet that only exists on that piece of paper. Just don't lose it!
    This may help too:

No worries Dom. I know it's kinda confusing. You will send the btc from your coinbase account to the public key for the wallet that you are going to make your paper wallet.
Every wallet has a public key and a private key. Think of a bitcoin wallet like a PO box. Your public key is your PO box address. Anyone can see this address and anyone can send you mail. Your private key is like the physical key you have that you can go access your mail with. As long as you are the only one with that physical key you are the only one with access to the box.
Once you have printed the piece of paper with your public and private key on it, just send your btc from coinbase to the public key address (which is the same as your bitcoin wallet address).
Try it with a small amount first so that it's not stressful.
