I think it would make why more intense for the top players at the end.

Championship Game... 4 options.. Money Line & Point Spread.

Last I looked 7 teams had a chance for the top 3 spots alone. I’d argue another 9 had a chance to cash. So there’s 16 out of 80 teams or 20% of the teams had a shot keeping the format as it is. How many more would be fair to you?
