Phyllis George Passes Away At 70

Phyllis George, a former Miss America and one of the first women to have a national role in television sports as a co-host of "The NFL Today," has died in Lexington after an illness. She was 70. And she was, and always will be, a legend.

Happy to say I'm not old enough to know who that is.

    Still, RIP PG

She was married for many years to John Y. Brown, former Gov. of Kentucky and owner of KFC. He was also one of the highest bettors of Football around at the time. Played with the Red Brothers out of Chicago.

A part of the best NFL pregame show ever; back when they were actually informative instead of today's clown shows.
