Always hard to beat the OG movie. Every blue moon you get a sequel that is better then the original. What comes to mind are these few off the top of my head -

    - A few Batman sequels beat the original.

    - Logan was way better then the first Xmen movie.

    - Thor Ragnorok was way better then the OG Thor movie.

Out of all actors... always felt Swayze was a good actor... along with John Ritter... I think Swayze was 55 diagnosed with Cancer... I think Ritter died at 55... just way too young. Worked your ass off... and can't even enjoy your retirement life. Sad.

Agreed. I don't want to tarnish the original by watching that rubbish.

Only way I'd watch it is if I heard great reviews by different trusted sources.

Yeah, and it would probably have to be from people that are long time fans.

    Spot on about John Ritter.

Most people don't realize how great an actor he was, and extremely diversified.

Look at all the actors he inspired with just that 'physical' comedy that he perfected as an art form.

Ritter in "Three's Company" influenced Michael (Kramer) Richards, Jerry Trainor (from Nick's iCarly)
    And more...

All I remember about that movie was the exaggerated facial expressions.

Loved watching Three's Company reruns when I was 10 years old. Watched 2 old episodes the other day... (I'm 45 now).... and honestly... how quick witted John Ritter was with his lines.... amazing. Most people who talk fast.... you can't even comprehend what they are saying.... but he was a different breed. Astonishing how he was with Comedy.

Saw his documentary and he'd trash his body doing many of his comedy fall skits on three's company.

Ritter had no stunt doubles, you're right.
    That was all John Ritter.

I mentioned Jerry Trainor earlier from iCarly, that Nick teen show from ten years ago.
Hey! I'm not a middle aged creep, I'm a big fan of that kind of humor lol

Anyways, Trainor played Spencer, Carly's older brother, he did all his own stunts, and those goofy stunts he performed on the show were dangerous, he didn't use a double either, influenced by John Ritter.

Ritter was the best at that.

Maybe if they set it in an Irish bar in Boston instead of a Mid West cowboy bar, and the Swayze/Connor character was less "zen" and more of a king hit old aged men type?
