Did they gaslight Medvedev?
They made him take the Russian flag next to his name away because of the Russian "invasion" of Ukraine. However, why didn't they make all American players take the flag away from their names while they invaded Iraq and Afghanistan?
Don't answer that.....because you know the answer. Its called what Christ called them: "All YE Hypocrites"!

It's beyond unfair how some of these Russian athletes were treated when they had nothing to do with what was/is going on.
Its been like that since the war started they can take away whatever they want. This guy has made me in the mid 5 figures the past 2 matches after he blows the start of matches. Hail Russia

All joking aside, yeah, down 2 sets had to be a really nice plus. I projected the total to go over and felt really strong about it but only took Med +3.5 after set 1. I stopped my betting after set 1 though and never looked again. After set 3, I did think set 4 would also go to tiebreaker too.
Did they remove the flag of the Israeli tennis players? They have been at war for a while. Not sure why they remove the flags at some wars and not others.

Who's naive here? Do you know how many American politicians have/had financial investments and major interests in the China economy? Do you know how many American companies sold out American workers and left? They threw America under the bus. Sorry, the enemy is from within not some country halfway around the world.
Either way, I started this thread because one country can go invade another and kept their flag by their teniis pro's names and nobody said otherwise. All of a sudden, Russian players have this done to them? It's bullshit.

Anyone think Medvedev +232 is value in the final?
A few basic ideas:
1) Sinner off the biggest win of his career.
...He gets more attention. Also maybe a bit full of himself?
2) The theme on the Medvedev/Zverev match was how long these guys have been on-court.
...True, it's been a grueling tournament.
...Pro athletes aren't the same as guys sitting on their couch. They take advantage of the recovery time.
3) Medvedev was the stronger seed. 3 vs 4.
...That should be a meaningful data-point.
Add it all up. Sure, Sinner is > 50/50. Just not sure he's 67/33 or higher.

When I was a kid, almost everything was made in the USA. Now, almost everything is made in China and brought here. The American people were betrayed by many American corporations and businessmen. Do you think its a good long-term outlook for the US to have another country hold it hostage because they make all of your shit? I think they supply nearly 80-90% of all pharmaceuticals too. So yeah, the stock market is so wonderful, but its not because of what is made here via manufacturing. That's for sure!
If I were given cart blanche control, then I would arrest every single one of those who profited by going overseas and/or never allow them back in this country again. Do you know how many lives were ruined because everything is made in China? Families suffering/suffered?
This country really would prosper if some greedy people and corporations didn't leave here and betray the people here.

At the start of the tournament, Sinner would have been 3rd pick at around +650. Medvedev 4th pick around +900.
Has THAT MUCH changed in two weeks? Sinner should be a modest fav but I don't know about a # over -200.
The fatigue gets discussed. Go a little further, the top players are literally on a 24-hour clock to adjust for fatigue/injury.
Down 0-2, Medvedev didn't give an inch to Zverev when he was only a few points from going out.
