"Lowry is averaging 1.07 strokes gained: approach and 0.68 SG: putting per round while being well above average in driving distance across his last 12 rounds. He also ranks second on the PGA Tour this season in proximity on approach shots from 175-200 yards. He was a respectable 51st by the same metric over last season.

He enters this week at No. 18 in the OWGR following a runner-up finish in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Lowry missed the cut in the Farmers Insurance Open a few weeks ago, but he tied for 25th at Torrey Pines last year. He has averaged 0.71 true strokes gained on the field per round across 18 career rounds at Torrey Pines."
