I think they should just drop the veil of betting secrecy in the NFL and let the sports people talk about the spreads and odds.People like Bradshaw look like a clown when they want to be contrarians picking a dog that is +20 to win the game outright compared to the other Fox telecast boobs that pick -20 point locks to win games outright.I know the guy is dumb and on meds for depression but I like the guy enough to feel sorry for him when he embarrasses himself. Is it my imagination or is it always Bradshaw's lot on the show to be the only one to pick the immense dogs to win games? He's like the sacrificial token idiot hillbilly rube.hehe!

For the NFL not to recognize that they are only as big as they are because of gambling is like the elephant being in the living room for Christmas, crapping all over the presents being opened where everyone is told not to think it's there.

Why even have the color guys on the pre game shows mull over picks when the NFL forbids them to bring point spreads and odds into the mix.Maybe if they did allow point spreads and odds to be brought up,a whole new class of more informative betting insiders would host the pre game shows making it worth watching.

The NFL should realize that they are a socialist monopoly that is publicly funded by the tax payer building team owners stadiums. They should get off their high horse and come to terms that they would be a failure without people gambling on teams that the bettor financed their stadiums with his or her tax dollars.

No gambling= no desire to fund stadiums=no NFL

P.S.Maybe if gambling talk was allowed by the NFL,all the play by play and color guys along with the annoying sideline babes would be replaced by dingey looking, fat and bald guys that knew what they were talking about.

I hear people on ESPN talking about point spreads all the time. Tony Reali is the only one who admonishes the guys on "Around the Horn" for talking about point spreads. I don't necessarily think these guys are trying to influence the line. I've always thought Bradshaw was a clown. If he wants to pick 20 point dogs, then let him. He only looks more like a clown.

People still take Bradshaw seriously? I thought they just lumped him in with Madden.

For the amount of money Bradshaw makes, I'd look like a clown.

And feel sorry for him? Heck, he's parlay his NFL career into a longstanding job on FOX, making him A LOT smarter than most of the players.

I'd take that "idiot hick rube" or whatever Brent said everyday over yet another drab, buttoned down, corporate sponsored wussy. I like him because he at least has some personality, and he announces like he played the game...balls to the wall with no reservations. Even his haters are starting up threads saying his name, as opposed to indistinguishable Joe Bland #s 1-100 that are calling games for most networks...

What, i mean wtf would this guy be depressed about? He works weekends 6 months a year and probably has $50 mil in the bank. unless he's playing the moneyline on those +20 point favorites.

I couldnt stand the guy when he was beating my cowboys. But he was a player and decent enough guy in the booth with some good info.

Don't let the good ole boy act fool ya. I have known plenty of those Louisianna "hicks/rubes"--and after they get thru their routine.......

                Bradshaw is annoying.

Who is YOUR guy? Name some names.

My point is that most of these guys leave a lot to be desired.

I'm so friggin sick of seeing Strahan's ugly teeth on my TV, I wish I could rig my TV to censor his face when it pops up. Who made Strahan someone that should be seen, or worse, heard?!?!

Strahan actually is good on tv and will be a star, he is much better than Howie Long as a tv guy and of course a football player.

Terry is just a sad drunk.
