#3When it comes to lesser known I'd say Robot Wars on the bbc.
But beyond that every show that was lesser known becomes big over time that I enjoyed such as Married with Children and Pawn Stars and Eastbound & Down. These all blew up big and I'm happy for them.Comment -
#4Hmmm, not a sitcom or drama on these days that I find appealing, either well-known or otherwise. Last decent sitcom produced in the US was Seinfeld, and even it tailed off in quality towards the end.
I watch the Texas HS sports review show on FOX Sports SW most weeks, perhaps that qualifies.Comment -
#5There was a show in the 80's I used to watch with my father called Wise Guy with Ken Wahl. It had arcs, which were basically 4 to 5 episode storylines and it was great. That guy Ken Wahl should have been a big star but married the Barbi Twins and then went underground. Weird dude, great actor.Comment -

#7Any show on IFC.
Undeclared, Freaks and Geeks...and they have a few new shows they've added to their line up. But I believe all the shows actually ran 5-10 years ago.
And River Monsters on Animal Planet.Comment -
#8Thanks so much for the suggestions....Need a new show since I just completed watching all the years of trailer park boys....
Thanks againComment -
#9"Malcolm in the middle" and "Bernie Mac" funny shit! Sure do miss the Mac man! Dude was cool as hell!Comment -
#10I like National Geographic's Explorer on the Nat Geo channel. When they break something down, they do a great job. I just saw one on Coke smuggling in Columbia. Those guys are using submarines to get the party to the US. The US has DEA agents leading the raids from American UH-60 Blackhawks in the jungles of Columbia and the US Navy is patrolling the waters off columbia.Comment -
#11Spartacus: Blood & Sand. Watching it on DVD from last season, good for those who dug 300-style violence. Lots ofin this show too, including Lucy Lawless.

#20I never hear anyone talk about Newsradio but I've been watching every day for months and that show is hilarious.
Also...
Arrested Development (funniest show of all time)
Freaks and Geeks
Undeclared
King of Queens
Friday Night Lights
The Norm ShowComment -

Leverage is also a great lesser known show. It's basically a group of con-artists/thieves who act as sort of a new age Robin Hood, helping people who are shat on by the rich and powerful.Comment -
#22king of queens is still one of my fav showsComment -
