It would be smart to insure it for that amount no doubt. I don't think it would be a good idea to do that anyway. Send a cashier's check.

I've read and heard about people sending cash with FedEx Overnight. I'm sure it was legitimate purposes.

sure you can send it. the problem is if cash isn't in package did you get stiffed by sender or a thief at ups. you could also very easily say package arrived without money and skip with 15k.

put it in a wood box, or cigar box and wrap the money up in paper.

I was gonna say to have the guy just stick it in a pair of new shoes, behind where the crinkled paper normally goes in the toe of the shoe, and it should be fine.

Than put rolled up newspapers on the bottom
The Sunday Times with $ in the center and more rolled up newspapers on top
If they pull the box it won't show up on the x rays unless the have a "expert" on the line that day
PS.Tell them to pay for insurance at a value of $500 and list it as electronic parts

get a UPS envelope. put the money in the envelope. seal the envelope. stick the UPS packing label on the envelope. tear the envelope open. take the money out. ship the opened envelope. profit.

Tons of ppl sending drugs by Fedex UPS....given that no one theoretically should know whether there's a 50 dollar item or 15k in cash in the box it is unlikely that it would be stolen....however if it got lost or delivered to the wrong address it would suck
