Reverse jinx?

Do people post that they're playing the opposite play that they really are and call it a LOCK to jinx the opposite side? That just occurred to me because I was thinking about whether to post a play but I didn't want to jinx myself then it occurred to me that I'd feel more comfortable posting the opposite play for some reason. Here goes then...
