I would think it's somewhere in the $10,000 plus range for most of ya'll who have been around for a few years.

I would really like to meet ONE person who has been overall successful in the long run, w/o a paid system.

So you lost $55,000 on your spreadsheet in the last two years..then the $20,000 on the Giants/Patriots Superbowl and for the other 18 years previously you only lost $25,000?

I'd say based on your $75,000 confirmed losses in the last 3 years you are most likely down $500,000 lifetime which is no bad for someone with no woman, job or life outside online gambling forums.

Not sure in my case - been betting online around 10/11 years with mixed results. First few years was full of square bets, huge accas, not looking around for value and just throwing money at something on a whim. Although this was also the time when my stakes were the smallest as I had just finished school and wasnt a lot of money so didnt have a lot to throw away luckily.

Last few years has been pretty good to me - I have been betting a lot more selectively, making sure I get the best possible price available and have hit a few nice paydays on high odds markets (futures, Golf, Nascar etc). I know I am up on a few firms, limited at a few others and down on a number of others.

My stakes have never been that high, in the old (square) days maybe £10-£20 my largest stakes - even these days my bets very rarely get above £50 (not counting laying off a futures bet to lock in a profit). All in all I would honestly say I am either up slightly or breaking even...

JJ doesn't count since he doesn't actually bet any real money on the plays he posts on his spreadsheet.
