What is Boston? Both teams are stacked bottom line. When the Redsox get in a groove watchout.

Done........................ JJ you arent that smart. This year the AL east is better from top to bottom. The Yanks have lost a little bit of pitching and it will hurt them a bit........Redsox Started slow and also lost some middle relieving, and have 3 players that cant hit for shit and that is hurting them. TB also started slowly but are coming round as a team, Lost some good players but once Manny retired and Madden got his players back without Manny presence the team has flourished. Both Balty and Toronto are better teams this year. So that is why the Al east is so tight from top to bottom, honestly i would expect teams in this division to keep beating the shit out of each other, Division winner may have only 90 wins, But the World Champs will more then likely come form this Division!

Nothing wrong with looking at new untested players in royals and Indians. Reds cardinals and rays look good and solid, baseball is fine.

Isn't that one good thing about mlb, every game can go both ways.
They can afford it cos they simply make it all back with merchandising..

They need to allow them to use roids, would make for a much much better game!

not done yet, they are working out pedro martinez and tom glavine for possible rotation spots. they just need some veteran leadership, it will come together.

the thing is...they don't even care if they win because they make so much money...they have to pretend they want to win but don't really have much interest in it...much more interested in that bi-monthly *************** to their bank account...

is this thread serious lol. the yankees will compete for the playoffs and world series like always. you guys watch two games on espn and their done? im a met fan but i watch enough yankee games to know and believe me this team isnt done. who are you trying to say is past their prime? arod still a top 5 3b try to name 5 guys youd rather have on your team this year lol, tex? the guy always puts up a monster 2nd half its the same shit year after year, jeter? certainly not the same but the guy is still better then alot of ss's around the league. would u rather have cliff pennington? maybe youd perfer jj hardy? like jeter there is alot of trash at ss jeter is average nowadays at worst. posada? yea im not a fan of him being the dh, a catcher as a perminant dh just seems stupid. rivera is still one of the best closers in baseball. who else can u really try to say is too old. idk man its way to early to write off any team espically the yankees. this thread is crazy

Seriously. 162 games are played in a season. There is still trading to do, call up, and other roster changes. They don't look good over their last 11 that is for sure, but cmon this is a NYY that has proven time and time again to be a fierce competitor until the end.
