I read Steltyhy's thread earlier and started to wonder about things. I stopped drinking liquor about 6 years ago. I still drink alot but only BEER. Every once in a blue moon I might drink wine or a small mixed drink. NEVER shots or straight liquor. I think I made the decision for some selfish reasons and just have never changed. I tried to convince myself since both my grandfathers were alcoholics and drank a ton of liquor I wouldn't go down that path. I also felt more in control of myself no matter how many beers I drink. When I was younger and drank liquor I would get out of control. I know you can become and Alcoholic just by drinking beer? My question is it harder to become an alcoholic only drinking beer. I know at this point in time I drink BECAUSE I WANT TO not because I need to. Is this something that gets worse over time even just with beer?
