Monfils just played a 5 setter with an 8-6 5th set tiebreaker. Rog cruised in 3. As Digger would say, he's on a mission. He'll win plus he's +500 as a dog for the title.

Actually Monfils played 3 sets 2 days ago and 2 sets yestarday ... so not that much effort like "Monfils just played a 5 setter with an 8-6 5th set tiebreaker" sounds
this is a hard one to be honest. monfils just has that "wow" factor that just can't be overlooked. but monfils is not 100% and is playing a 100% fit and healthy federer and looks to have regained his confidence and hunger that got him so many grand slams.
i guess at the end of the day, it comes down to whether you think monfils can take a set off fed. if you do, then the obvious play is the over. but if you think fed wins this in straight sets, then play the under.
or if you want some real underdog value, play monfils and O34.5 double if you truly think monfils can upset the fedexpress cause if monfils does beat federer, it will be a 4-5 setter at the very least and will easily go over.
Gael Monfils is like a box of chocolates - you never now what you gonna get. It could be the player that can feed from the crowd and make an infernal match to any opponent he's facing, or it could be the circus freak that hits balls 2 meters outside of court. He has the capacity to frustrate Fed and take a couple of sets of him, so the over is the only bet I feel little comfort about in this match.
I think that the over should hit on this one...I think fed will win in 4 or 5. If Monfils plays great he could pull of the upset...i actually wouldn't mind if he won the tourney because I would cash in on a lot of sbr points.
Federer in 4 is also along the lines of what I am thinking. There is a chance though that if Monfils comes out flat because of the emotion used up yesterday that he could get down early and get down on himself and allow Fed to roll.
