OT/ The size of energy drink cans.

Remember a few years back when Redbull came out? It was like
a 8 or 10 ounce can I think - just a little thing.

Then all the energy drink makers went to the 12 ounce can.

Then came alone the 16 - and a few months back I saw the 24 ounce can.

Do I hear 32? Oh yes, I saw the 32 oz energy drink in a can today.

The can is friggin huge. What's next the half gallon Monster energy drink???

I pound down a Monster 24 oz energy drink before I go for a bike race. It is like taking a vile of crack and sets me up for the begining of the race. The energy is cheap sugar, and caffine so after about 30 minutes or so I need a energy pouch to snorkle on.

Guys, if you wanna reap the rewards of an energy burst in the form of a pre-workout drink, do what Unca Buzzy does. Drink black coffee -- get a tall starbuck's black coffee and drink 15 minutes before you pump. ZERO cals! This is assuming you already have fuel in the tank from a good breffas. Never lift on an emtpy tummy. I generally have 8 scrambled egg whites, oatmeal and skim milk about 7 am and lift at 10ish, on weigth days, with the pre w/o sbux. Post w/o is a body fortress chocolate protein shake! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAY!

My local Speedway now offers 3 different sized Red Bull cans. The biggest is 16 oz and sells for about $3.39

I'm not kidding the size of the can is unreal. Said there were four 8 ounce servings in it, add up all the suger and caffeine - its nuts.

Check when your at the Holiday station, bottom shelf.
