Yah especially because the lines suck so bad too..... when I was up there we were getting like 1.50 canadian for every dollar

There is value to be had though. They came out this morning with Russia paying 2.7 for Saturdays EURO game. The books are only offering 2.1. Betfair has 2.2. I was out early grabbing a bunch of tickets. They took the game off the board about 9:00 AM

Yah it was always fun and sometimes you'd find a gem I mean it beat most alternatives at that time other than a local of course this was like 10 years ago internet was still developing books somewhat

is it still only 3-game parlays or more, and crazy juice? When I was 16, when it first came out, I used to do 3-game Sports Select NBA over unders every day.. lost a lot of money

I play it just about every day. It's great to have one game left on the parlay for a big payday and being able to hedge online....

Sinister Cat, It's 3 game minimum parlays....you can do a two-gamer on the spread but it pays shit.

well, I guess if you can find 3 games on the card that are as out of whack as the one you mentioned, you could do really well. Kind of a different game than normal sports betting though -- more, look to see where they screwed up, rather than actually looking at the games. When I used to play basketball over/unders I would just compare the olgc lines to the vegas lines and take the ones that were off by the most. Even though their lines were off, the odds were so bad I still couldn't make money.

It works good on the spread for CBB and NFL. There's always value...4 teamer pays 10x, not too shabby when you're getting a couple extra points. With CBB, sometimes it's more like 5 points...

That's how i got started. my dad would fill out the tickets til i got to grade 8 then i started going to the store and doing it myself.
It's not til i starting placing bets online that i realized i was getting ripped off.

Proline is a rip off...end of discussion. You can actually do a 2 teamer in Football and it pays a whopping 2:1!

The ONLY benefit of using proline is the next day payout, but if you're using proline then you are in Canada and you can use Moneybookers and get paid quicker than that. From having to take a minimum 3 teams to the base line odds being 1.70 instead of 1.90...what do we call that a 'dimeline x 6'? There is no reason to ever use proline.

Pro Line was great when I was 12. Hockey ties used to be 8/1. Senators used to be 9/1 every game.
