Tim Howard calls Gold Cup Ceremony a "F'n Disgrace"

Apparently after the match last night the entire ceremony was done in Spanish...even when the US received their medals for playing. Howard was pissed because being in the US at the Rose Bowl he thought that CONCACAF should of included English in the ceremony. I'm sure this is going to roll out some interesting discussions.

Realistically, the defenders in front of him looked totally lost. Wasn't a great sign when Cherundolo went down early. This was pretty bad though, especially with Mexico tryin to run up the score late.

I agree with a majority of you guys...if anything they should of announced the US players in English, but the way Tim Howard played..which was help by the invisible backline, crap adjustments by a coach who is tactically inept, and big time players who disappear when they're needed (Cherundalo, Dempsey, Altidore) They deserved to be escorted out of the Rose Bowl with nothing.

The only positives out of that game yesterday were Donovan, surprisingly Freddy Adu, and Bradley. The entire organization needs an infusion of life. It's time to bring in a big name to shake things up...and that means no US retreads to run the team, get an international name who can put a flare into the team and not stand around like a dead fish. Then it's time to "thin the herd" and get rid of those who don't fit the system, which includes the big names if need be. The US has taken the Bradley Experiment as far as they can, and I most certainly believe you'll see him be replaced in the near future....as they have just enough time to shake it up before the World Cup qualifiying begins.

Agree, but US isn't even 2nd tier, In the World Rankings we're probably 3rd or 4th tier. Mexico outclassed the US yesterday with pure speed and ability. Dos Santos and Chicarito showed how subpar some of our "stars" truly are.

To be fair it did look pretty grimey doing the ceremony in Spanish on U.S soil. Not only that but this thing was televized worldwide and English is the "official" international language.

This is a sign of how dominant the latino community is becoming and soon we'll be the ones needing to learn Spanish.

The two centrebacks for the US team were too slow. When you have fast guys like Chicharito you need a fast centreback to defend them and not the two meatballs the US had playing yesterday. Howard was right to be mad.
