Only thing her looks got her was the media circus that followed this case around from day one. They did this because she was attractive. If she was banged up like Carole, Nancy Grace wouldn't have said a fukkin word about this broad. Children die and go missing daily, they chose to create the stir with this case because the broad was hot and was out partying like a fukkin rock star instead of finding or help finding her little girl.

I think she got off because the jurors had in their minds that there was not enough evidence to have Ms Anthony put to death. If the state had put on a case for a lesser charge, I think the outcome would have been different. All the evidence pointed towards Ms Anthony but not enough to have her put to death and that's what those jurors had in their minds.

obviously she wasn't going to testify, but prosecution still should have tried to compell her to sit on the stand and invoke the 5th 'under oath' which may or may not have been allowed depending on how the judge feels. yeah it can be overruled as theatrics, but it's worth a shot. this judge didn't seem like the best judge anyway some of the evidence and testimony and 'theatrics' he was allowing anyway so i definitely would have tried that tactic.
if everyone knew she was guilty and then was still compelled to get up on the stand and invoke the 5th under oath that would have been a huge slap in the face

Most of the country is ticked at the verdict and I am one of them. It sucks she didn't get charged with the murder, but now that she will be walking free soon, she will want to be back in prison as her life will never be the same. How much you wanna bet, the parents, and Casey get murdered, or off themselves. Casey's life is gonna be a living hell, and the reason being is that this involved a child. OJ didn't get alot of backlash like this as his involved a grown person.

I don't think her physical attributes played a part in the jury's verdict. If the state could have proven how Caylee died and that Casey was undoubtedly the person responsible for murder or manslaughter then Casey would be an attractive convict on death row.

the prosecution relied too heavily on public opinion and didn't do an effective enough job. There was far too much importance placed on weak and circumstantial evidence and it appeared the assumption was that the jury would just go along with the public outrage that a mother could do something like this.

Knowing someone is guilty and being able to evaluate what is presented to you as actual evidence is not easy and the prosecution failed miserably.
