the problem is minne and the rays are very good, and will view for the wild cards too
maybe even texas will

They have no healthy outfield, not dependable bullpen and not any quality starters.

joba/pettite are quality starters. mussina is iffy. i'd say they have about a 50% chance of making the playoffs if wang wasnt hurt. that wang injury is the turning point to me.

they will get a bullpen guy
and their starters are at least average

this sounds about right.

year in and year out, people underestimate the second half that the Yankees will have. I think it's adorable.

Yep. Every year. If I got anything over +100 for them to make the playoffs, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
