I live in Michigan and honestly have no idea how good Illinois or Arizona State really is. You really think Illinois is the play? They have a good enough passing game because I think AZ state can handle the run to an extent..

Heres some meaningless stats:
The Sun Devils are 1-2 at Big Ten schools since winning at Illinois in 1987. They won both games of a home-and-home series with Illinois in 1987-1988 and the teams haven't met again until now. The Illini are 0-5 vs. PAC-12/PAC-10 schools since between Cal in 2000 and 2001.

Call me biased, but ASU wins. ASU played top teams last year to the last play (with injuries and stupid personal fouls). Burfict is actually using his brain this year and Brock is a solid QB. Do not forget, ASU lost 19-20 last year vs. Wisconsin... in Wisconsin!!!Now that penalties are not as big of a problem and they have a solid line and QB, ASU wins. Just my $.02.

my predictions are undeafted in gold's opinion forum, prety sure there not in yours...

I'll take Illinois, Nathan Steelhouse will pick Arizona State defense apart, they are physicaly talented as they come but are the most undisiplined team i have saw in a long time. Steelhouse is the payton manning of black quarterbacks kid is football smart he dont just have to beat you with his legs he can read the defense.

he's a long damn way from manning but he's a hell of alot above 98 percent of division 1 quarterbacks on reading a defense and adjusting.
