Vh1's I Love Money...

Is anyone watching this ridiculous masterpiece? The concept is that they took the most controversial characters from Flavor of Love, I Love New York and Rock of Love and put them in one house to fight over $250,000. This is the best/worst television has to offer.

I'm not watching it, but some what off the topic, can you answer a question I have? I assume, you watch reality shows like that, I don't. And I'm being serious here. How is there a 3rd season of Rock of Love when the guy on it was finding his true love in the first season? Everyone I talk to tells me about this show and I dont get how they have a 3rd season coming up. It should have stopped after the first.

These shows are nothing but entertainment. I really don't care if these idiots find love. I just enjoy the ridiculousness of it all. I mean seriously, where do they find so many collective douchebags?

Yes. Someone asked me if i was gonna watch it. There is a 3rd season coming. If that isnt a blatant slap in the face to the people who keep watching it, nothing will be. The guy on it is laughing all the way to the bank. He is probably thinking he can go to Rock of Love season 29 and people will still watch.

Bread and I are heathens who don't attend church Sunday mornings, so we look forward to our Sunday morning VH1 reality show (whichever it may be). Oh, and The Soup. Gotta have The Soup.

So there is 2 choices:

A. He gets the stupidest girls in the world to be on the show and bangs them all. With the girls thinking there's a future with him.

or

B. They are all in on it and making money off the people who are watching it and falling for it.

Why watch it. I get the whole reality tv thing, but that show seems like a joke. You see, I would like a reality show, like, Rockstar, where people are competeing to sing in a big band and its legit.

I personally enjoy seeing the misfortunes of others played out on television (only if they put themselves into that position, of course).

It's just absolutely lovely knowing that such shallow people exist and we have the ability to witness it week after week.

I really can't stand reality TV. Most of it is staged or fabricated anyway. Half of the people on them become characters themselves because they want to be interesting to the audience and become famous, hoping to cash in big afterwards. The reason the airwaves are full of these shows is their inexpensive nature. The networks don't have to pay for elaborate stages or writing teams. It usually just takes some obscure location or house, a small camera crew, and a lot of editing. I was hoping that reality TV would just be a fad but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere...

I agree with everything you said, MF. I can't stand most reality TV shows...but these VH1 dating fiasco's are delicious! When you watch one (and accept it for what it is), you just can't help yourself.

Unfortunately, reality television isn't going anywhere.

I'm not saying we all need to watch Brooke Hogan's crapfest or anything..but these VH1 shows are craptacular.

Exactly. The reality shows worthy of watching have to be of the I Love Money caliber.

Robyn, I told your dear husband about the third season of Rock of Love weeks ago. Clearly, there is a lack of communication, especially about such a wondrous piece of television.

There is also going to be a "Charm School" with all of the Rock of Love trash pieces being taught class by none other than Sharon Osbourne. Classy!

Well, my wonderful husband failed to inform me that Bret and Ambre broke up. I am visibly shaken right now. Not really.

I did hear about the Charm School. Unfortunately without Lacey, it will suck. She IS going to be on the show, right?

It's supposed to air sometime this fall, but they didn't have a cast posted when I checked.

You know, a lack of communication on that grand level could spell problems down the road. What next: He forgets to tell you that he bought you a monkey and now it's dead in the trunk of his car?

I had an ex girlfriend who use to watch a reality show, and I actually watched it with her a few times. It was about 7-8 years ago, called Temptation Island. What a piece of sh!t this thing was. They would find couples and fly them to an island and then try to get them to cheat on their spouse. Right there, I knew people were gonna be hooked to this sh!t. She was addicted to it.
