I always meet mine at a bar and whoever is picking up will buy the other a drink or two, but thats it. You dont tip, and he sure doesnt expect it. Getting the money on Wednesday is not really getting it to you extra fast or anything, its just normal.

Pay the winners on Tuesday, and collect the Losers on Wednesday. My local has always done that, as true customer service.
Never wait on a local to collect his losers, before he pays his winners.
Signs of a shoebox book, that can't handle his action and you could be waiting to get paid for awhile or not get an answer next week when you call to play.

Actually in NE Tuesday is pay day. Monday in non football season. No tips please because you winning will more than likely be rare. In fact, many books give a 10% discount, at least they do around here.

a tip is a good idea. i always tip my guy a sawbuck
