I just started using my bookie a couple weeks ago, we were even until this week. He owes me a couple hundred dollars and Im supposed to pick up on Wednesday. Does he take any of that couple hundred as profit for getting me the money fast, or do I tip him or what?

#2No all of the cash is yours. Even though you won most of his players probably lost so he will be fine.Comment -
#3Just take your money, man... it's not complicated.Comment -
#4does he "tip" u when you lose a few hundred bucks and pay him? hell noComment -
#5hell no he should have ur money that day if he is a true bookieComment -
#6can you imagine how easy it would be to scam this guy?...this is really a sad development...product of private schooling?Comment -
#7I always meet mine at a bar and whoever is picking up will buy the other a drink or two, but thats it. You dont tip, and he sure doesnt expect it. Getting the money on Wednesday is not really getting it to you extra fast or anything, its just normal.Comment -

#9are you serious flip? Do you really want to give your bookie a tip? what $5 bucks,..$10bucks?? Just curious..Comment -
#10Tip him with a middle finger when u take ur envelope.Comment -
#11Pay the winners on Tuesday, and collect the Losers on Wednesday. My local has always done that, as true customer service.
Never wait on a local to collect his losers, before he pays his winners.
Signs of a shoebox book, that can't handle his action and you could be waiting to get paid for awhile or not get an answer next week when you call to play.Comment -

#14send me 100 points and i will give you an answerComment -
#15Actually in NE Tuesday is pay day. Monday in non football season. No tips please because you winning will more than likely be rare. In fact, many books give a 10% discount, at least they do around here.Comment -
