The Golden Nugget??
OHHH, you mean the Golden Butthole.
It's digital, but they're practically from a different planet. There's a reason they seem to have lots of soft lines. They have very low limits. They really really don't want action. They wouldn't let me tease preseason NFL (although they, along with Leroy's, offer the best NFL teaser odds). Essentially, if you sound like you have a clue, they're not gonna take your action.
And it's a small sports book.

Here's my advice: Bet GN if you get a good line and they'll let you. I'm not sure if you're confined to the downtown area (since I sort of fell asleep on the whole SBR Bash thing unfortunately), but if you are, there is also the El Cortez, which is sort of its own outfit (doesn't use LVSC). Just don't be flashing money around while you're walking between it and Fremont Street Experience. Also, Lucky's (inside the Plaza) is going to lose a fortune on NFL playoffs props and some other unusual props, but they won't take much action (and I'm sure the enticing props will be off the board within a week). There may be a Cal-Neva up there as well, not sure about that one though.

Leroy's located in shithole Golden Gates will probably take most action.
Plaza probably best place to watch any games.
1k limits on baseball downtown, far as I know(except Leroys)
Freemont's my fav to hang around---coast lines
you can easily shop around some lines downtown, few different sources next to each other.

Personally, I like downtown more than the Strip though. Less traffic, less glitzy. It's got a history.
If someone else is paying or you win a bunch of money, check out the Downtown. It's across from the giant pint glass on the east side of Las Vegas Blvd. They have the bottle service and all so it's pretty expensive (I've never been the one paying). There's my one classy downtown recommendation.

I forgot about the Fremont being Coast.
I don't normally bet downtown, but when I do it's because I saw a line I liked. I don't have a "regular" place if that's what you mean.

I think cal-neva is in the 4queens. 5inning lines there
keep your eyes open for some of these sportsbooks, if you blink you might miss them.

Golden Nugget called the house
The call from the Golden Nugget, offered me a free suite for three nights plus all food comped for my next visit.
I guess they want their Baccarat money back.
The only thing I didn't like about the call was that they spoke to my wife and told her how happy they were to see me.
What if I had not told her that I was in Vegas?
Good thing I was honest

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey,
I'm shocked that I'm having to tell you this, I thought you were a wily old fox.
You didn't tell your wife you were in Vegas and consequently she is threatening divorce.
I see plenty of mileage in this, couple of Elton John tickets at least.

I think you misread my post, I did tell her and she was glad I am invited back.
