World Cup - More Bets Than Super Bowl And March Madness Combined Says Pinnacle Sports

"The World Cup is not only the world's most popular sporting event, but is also unquestionably the most bet sporting event globally, easily surpassing the totals of the Super Bowl and March Madness combined," said Simon Noble of PinnacleSports.com to The Online Wire.

The industry leader in reduced juice wagering is probably the offshore sportsbook that offers the largest number of options for betting on soccer and they will certainly maintain their supremacy with the upcoming soccer World Cup.

"Our Asian handicap markets, which are priced to an unbeatable 1% margin, are perfect for bettors shooting for exceptional value on their World Cup bets" added Noble.

In the extremely competitive world of online sports betting sportsbooks shall maintain focus on offering punters the largest wagering menu possible.

"At PinnacleSports.com we're kicking off Germany 2006 by offering players the most extensive menu of World Cup betting options online including three-way betting, correct score, first goal scorer, time of first goal and over/under total goals on every game as well as a wide variety of in-running action, futures and props throughout the entire month-long tournament" concluded Noble of Pinnaclesports.com

I know it's a big international event but more action than the SB and March Madness combined?

      I'm skeptical.

I don't know, Mud. It seems legit to me. Granted, not a lot of USA action. But the rest of the world is as crazy, if not more so, about their football as we Yanks are about ours.

It might be reasonable to assume that more money is bet on the Super Bowl and March Madness, while more bets are taken on World Cup.

          ?????

          Are they serious?

That is a complete lie. They are not within a million light years of this and they know it. So, yes, thats a flat out lie.

As a side note, I remember Euro 2004 and the Thai government actually blocked internet access to a large number of bookies because they feared the consequences. And that was just the European Championships.

Asians love football and they love betting so events such as this go off the scale.

I know this is true because I myself tried to log onto William Hill, coral, etc while I was there and just got this page of Thai script which i assumed was saying "BACK OFF".

Superbowl is one single game. And most of the world has never even heard of March Madness. Sur-priiise! American colleges don't make much of a ripple in Quatar.

And by the way, the rest of the world is amused when confronted with the American habit of celebrating national champions as 'World champs'.

Go ask a few of those oil sheiks, you know, in that part of the world we're trying to take over, how much they'd be willing to bet on a World Cup game.

And I also think that more people will watch the World Cup Final than Olympic curling. I know this might come as a shock to you.

The Chinese have no such qualms of course. I tell you, betonstars should target the Chinese market ... no slow days there.

I know another country with religious fundamentalists where gambling is illegal.

Surely you're not referring to the Land of the Free.

Well, the best of these foreigners take the free trip to America and stay here anytime whey want and litter it with their pigeon English and horrible personal hygiene.

Of course, until the Wolrld Championshiips or Olympics, then these same people are the 1st to admit they are a foreigner( Nowitski, Nash, Yao, Matsui) and the rest of them.

I say take all their money and give them a one way ticket back to their "country" or just kill them on the spot. Makes no difference to me.

You'd be surprised how many people have an unfavorably opinion of fascism.
