If anything I was matching you for the condescension in your post. If the guy wasn't Chinese, it would've been declared very loudly by now. But it's all good... Again, "chink in the armor" is a common phrase in sports and, when not thought out ahead of time, I can absolutely see how this might just be an accidental and horrible coincidence when discussing Lin. It's not like "chink in the armor" is a stretch phrase taken totally out of context when discussing an athlete who seems perfect and then suddenly struggles.

Most people who are racist don't usually marry the race they have a hatred for. If they do it's incredibly unlikely they would go so far out of their way to be racist at their job place by using a racial slur in a headline.
