Does TAB offices limit like $500 a game players in American Sports if he shows a clue???

I really can't answer that question. It's not often that I've found them to offer competitive odds on US sports and I do a lot of my US sports betting before they open for business in the morning. But on looking back through my database I find that there was a period when they were readily accepting bets of up to $3000, mostly on NHL and I didn't suffer any limitation despite doing rather well on those bets.

I have heard the odd story about them limiting big punters but never actually come across anyone who's suffered that fate at the hands of TAB.

I don't challenge that summation at all but would add Centrebet in there too. Unfortunately none of those bastards will let me make any sort of decent wager.

But there are signs that TAB is getting more aggressive. They are leading the field in NRL this season, matching Pinnacle with 10c lines .

every state and territory in Australia has one and so does NZ
they were originally established by the state governments to run off-course pari-mutuel betting on horses and greyhounds
but generally it refers to the ones now owned by Tabcorp Limited which serves Victoria and NSW principally.

I really don't find Tabcorp that bad but the latest upgrade at Tattsbet certainly was a backward step.

Remember that the TABs were originally set up only to offer racing and would have developed their systems for that. They remain still primarily racing focused but are now more and more getting into sports.

I've never rated it as a strength but I do know what I find to be inconvenient and Tatts new display for sports odds takes up just too much space. No longer can one see all the games on one page but need to keep paging down to find what you're after. Contrast that to the all on one screen display at Tabcorp.
